I’ve always used JR equipment. Recently, my 9503 stopped binding to new receivers. Tony Stillman thinks it’s an issue with the firmware and can’t be fixed. So, I was talked into buying the latest, greatest Taranis for the programming flexibility and range/ latency prowess. It’s a little different, but I have been able to navigate it pretty well. They (Archer) have a 10 channel receiver designed for large scale gas engine planes, Dual power plugs, vibration resistance, etc. when I went to pick up my plane ( Pilot RC 42% Edge), the guy I bought it from made the comment that my plan to use the Taranis was a bit dubious because, it was not “first quality”. I don’t want to lose this plane because of an avoidable decision.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
