Greetings fellow IMAC North Central pilots. The first CORKS IMAC Challenge contest is 1 month away! I am looking forward to seeing my NC friends and new acquaintances at what I hope will be a great weekend of flying. If you're planning to attend but have yet to register, please do so as soon as possible. Knowing the head count helps me and others to better prepare for the contest.
There will be a pizza party Saturday evening for dinner and the CORKS will be providing food and beverages at their concession stand during the day Saturday & Sunday. Donations are welcome for food. Of course you can just bring whatever food and beverage you'd like.
Just a reminder, the field will be open for practice Friday September 9 beginning at 0900 until dark. The airport will be open. A spotter is required for all pilots as Ranney Field is co-located with Chapman GA airport. See and avoid! The airport will be closed by NOTAM for the contest. I will be on field for support Friday so come out and get some practice flights before the meet.
The field is located at 3143 Columbus Road, Centerburg, OH 43011. The Details page on the IMAC website is correct but the flyer was not updated so disregard the address on the flyer.
