  • 2023 schedule info on the website?

The contest schedules that were developing on the regional pages are now gone, and replaced with "no events are currently scheduled at this time". I'm wondering, and probably betting it's due to possible changes in the website area/side. There were several contests in our Southwest region already approved, and a few pending.

Surely they haven't all been cancelled...right? Since I notice other regions also have nothing scheduled, there's where I think someone's working on website issues or changes.

I'm just wanting to confirm if that's the case. If I missed an email or notification to that effect I'll look again. I do see on other RC media there are contests being planned... but nothin here.

Please advise. Others might be interested as well to start planning their year of events/contests. Thanks, Dale

Website migrates to new server this weekend. Nothing schedule wise will move over. So that is why I have deleted them all. The RD's should be keeping track however. You can take a glimpse here. Your normal login creds should work.

Is the contest scheduler going to be up soon? If not, how are we to let the CD know who is coming and what the info is? Use a thread in the forum? The SE has a contest in a few weeks....

Hi Skip. His primary focus the last couple weeks was getting IJS going. I am currently in a meeting with Primo working with him on putting the SE events up . If needed there on the homepage is an article with all the events listed for the SE region.

I saw the schedule, what it doesn't tell me is the details of the contest, regular or alternate, etc. This is the 2nd year for this contest and it is in a new, very early time slot so I don't know whether or not after 8 hours I driving I can expect to fly against myself or others or whether if there are enough pilots to make a contest. I'm sure David would like to know too. Just trying to make plans and I can't be the only one.

Skip, if this helps, go into the events link(far right prompt from home page, and therein is all events listed for IMAC worldwide. Hit on your event, and you will get as much info as people can post up at this point. It's obviously still being worked on, but there's at least a list of pilots developing on many events now. As for "alternate sequences", contact the CD, and/or it would be posted up on your event area, but if you're not sure yeah contact the CD.

It's all transitioning, and I/we finally got our contest posted, and sign ups open in my area, with proper info. It just took a little bit of work and perseverance. If the contest you're referring to is the "PlaneNutz" contest, I see 3 pilots on the list at this point..

Go to your event then just click on it and scroll down...

              Good luck with it.

Also you can search for instance "South East" and see just that regions events. Knocks the rest off for you. Getting Std's or Alt's on this info panel is on the To-do's and hopefully pretty soon.
