Hello Doug, I'm interested in the online Judging school, and/or how to get into this. Are these links and the series still valid at this point?... and in a nutshell where do I start?

Since we're down for a little bit now, and flying is somewhat limited for me, I thought the time I have could be well spent doing some study and learning at this level.

    Thank you, Dale

Yes Dale, all the links provided in post #1 are still valid. So the "Core Materials" is the PPT presentation which you do not need Powerpoint to view I might add. Items 2 and 3 on that list are Quick Reference Guides that you could (should) print out beforehand to well.... "Quick Reference" from. Then or you could go thru each of Brad Davy's online course portions. And maybe first. It would not be quite as dry as the read of the first section. Brad does have quite the wit to him! ! Really, it is a preference thing. But in section 1, item 1, at end of each section is a quick Module test you can take. It will give you an immediate return on your answers and sections you did well on or need to take another look at. Either way, this is not a pass or fail scenario. You will learn! You will gain a ton of knowledge. You will take away things that will make you a better pilot.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Doug, thank you so much. I am definitely going to pursue this in the very near future. I look forward to learning and applying, and hopefully being a worthy, fair, ambassador, and opponent in all ways to those I'm fortunate to participate with, for a long time to come.
