2021 Nats AMA/SIGS Planning Meeting

Ok everyone. As discussed with AMA earlier this year, (2020 Nats Cancellation) we had come to an agreement with AMA, that independent SIGs would be part of discussion and planning and dates for NATS going forward with AMA NATS planning board. This meeting is to take place on Tuesday November 10th at 5:00 PM eastern time. At that time I hope to have set dates for 2021 SA NATS for you. One of my main goals is to assure we are moved off of the 4th of July week or preceding week dates as that has been a big issue for a lot of pilots.

Couple other things to bear in mind: The Muncie Ironman triathlon makes hotel rooms prohibitively expensive if even available, we need to stay away from that if possible, and site 3 is preferable as 4 all but mandates we fly alternate sequences.

Looks like the Muncie Ironman may be rescheduled to Oct 2, 2021. That should help with Nats scheduling.

Well AMA has pushed meeting off 1 week. But they do have us down for June 16th to June 19th on Site 3. Being our main goal was to move away from July 4th spot or near. I am pretty pleased with this.

We have several juniors and seniors in our sig. Will school be closed by those dates?
